CS:GO – Perfect World Asia League Summer 2020 – TYLOO DEFEAT INVICTUS TO WIN

TYLOO took down Invictus 2-1 in a hard-fought grand final to clinch the Perfect World Asia League Summer 2020 title.

After having been defeated in the opening match of the tournament by Invictus, YuLun “⁠Summer⁠” Cai and company were able to come out on top in the final after three maps.

The grand finale started on TYLOO’s map picked Vertigo, where Invictus got an early lead. A fantastic all-round defensive performance from TYLOO soon brought the team within two rounds of Invictus.

TYLOO carried their momentum into Mirage to storm to a 5-0 lead on the CT side. The opening round of the second half went in favour of TYLOO, but Invictus immediately responded to keep themselves ahead.

The series headed to Inferno map to decide the tournament winner, and both teams refused to let the victory slip away. TYLOO won four initial rounds as they kicked off the map on the defence, but Invictus soon gained control. TYLOO stepped it up a gear once they swapped to the offensive side to put themselves in the driver’s seat after securing eight out of the opening nine rounds of the second half.

Consistent kills and clutches from somebody and SLOWLY placed the team into a 14-10 lead, with a 16-11 scoreline as TYLOO secured the win.
